The congress of the European Alliance of Associations for Rheumatology runs from June 9 to 12, 2027 on the Berlin exhibition grounds. We plan, build and look after stands at this congress: concept, engineering, production, installation and on-site support through one point of contact.

Venue
The Messe Berlin exhibition grounds by the Funkturm. Which halls the congress occupies is published by EULAR to exhibitors only; the Exhibition Technical Manual with the hall plan comes out in January 2027.
Scale
Berlin expects around 14,000 participants. London 2026 drew 14,171 from 137 countries, with over 50 exhibitors, 33 industry symposia and more than 5,700 submitted abstracts.
Anniversary
EULAR was founded in 1947 and celebrates its 80th anniversary in 2027. Berlin hosts the congress for the third time, after 2004 and 2012.
Field
Rheumatology and musculoskeletal diseases: rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, axial spondyloarthritis, lupus, vasculitis and osteoporosis. EULAR's 30 corporate members book their space first.
At EULAR the Code of Practice governs space, build height and conduct on the stand, and that shapes the planning from the start
Space allocation and deadlines
Corporate members book by ranking until November 12, 2026, after which sales open to all other companies. The technical booth plan has to be submitted for approval by April 29, 2027, the stand graphics by May 13.
What applies on the space
No rigging from the hall ceiling, no part of the stand beyond the rented space, a maximum of 70 decibels at the stand boundary. At the 2023 and 2024 editions the maximum build height was five metres, and double-decker stands need certified structural calculations.
Industry and science kept apart
Commercial activities are strictly separated from the scientific program. Industry symposia run only outside program hours, live presentations on the stand need approval, and industry sessions are open only to participants entitled to prescribe.
Because EULAR wants the booth plan approved by the end of April, the concept for Berlin has to be settled in winter
The deadlines are set by EULAR, not by us. Knowing them, you plan backwards: from approval in April through graphics in May to installation in the week before the congress.
By November: secure your space
Corporate members book until November 12, 2026; from November 16 all other companies can book space.
Winter: concept and engineering
In January EULAR publishes the Exhibition Technical Manual with build heights and the hall plan. Design and engineering are developed on that basis.
April and May: approvals
Technical booth plan by April 29, stand graphics and orders by May 13, freight orders by May 20. After that, every late order costs more.
June: installation and congress
At recent editions installation ran from Saturday to Tuesday, with finishing touches only on Wednesday morning. Then four congress days, with dismantling from Saturday afternoon. We stay on site while it runs.

Compliance as routine
Strict separation of medical and commercial, approval codes on every graphic, flame-retardant certificates to class B1 according to DIN 4102-1 for textiles, aluminium structures and floor coverings. Just as the Code of Practice requires.

EULAR is a medical congress. The stands we build there are covered by our clients' confidentiality agreements, and those cover photographs too. We could show you pictures taken somewhere else. We would rather not, and tell you what we actually do there instead.
