About Us:
Public Address Exhibition & Design GmbH, based in Hochheim am Main, Germany specializes in the realization of bespoke brand environments, exhibition stands and exhibitions for national and international clients. We combine creative design with technical planning, precise execution and a strong commitment to quality. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a dedicated professional who can manage projects in a structured manner, understands technical requirements and enjoys bringing ideas to life together with clients, suppliers and colleagues. Location: Hochheim am Main (Germany) or Hagenbrunn (Austria)
Your Responsibilities:
- Take full technical and organizational responsibility for exhibition construction projects, from completed planning through to successful handover to the client.
- Develop detailed technical solutions and create 2D and 3D CAD drawings.
- Prepare working documents, bill of materials, production documentation and installation plans.
- Coordinate purchasing activities and liaise with contractors, suppliers, and internal departments.
- Inspect stored client materials in close collaboration with our warehouse team.
- Manage on-site construction activities both nationally and internationally, including installation and dismantling operations.
- Monitor project schedules, technical planning, detailed designs, and communication with all stakeholders.
- Handle technical service orders such as electricity, water supply, rigging, and support the preparation of structural and approval documentation.
Your Profile:
- Completed technical or trade-related training, such as carpenter, metalworker, technical drafter, a degree in a technical field or a comparable qualification.
- Previous experience in exhibition construction, interior fit-out, retail construction, or a related industry is an advantage.
- Ideally experienced with CAD software and 3D rendering tools.
- Comfortable working with Apple Macintosh systems and standard Microsoft Office applications.
- Good English skills are desirable.
- Structured, proactive and solution-oriented working style, even when managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Motivated, resilient, flexible and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Willingness to travel and possession of a valid Class B driving licence.

You will independently or as part of a team take responsibility for tasks in the following areas:
- Design and development of detailed technical solutions using 2D and 3D CAD software
- Preparation of production documentation, bills of materials (BOMs), and installation instructions
- Procurement of materials and coordination with contractors, suppliers, and service providers involved in the assigned projects
- Verification and retrieval of stored company and client materials in close cooperation with our warehouse team
- On-site construction and site management in Germany and abroad
- Coordination and supervision of stand assembly and dismantling operations
- Management of projects from the completion of the planning phase through to handover to the client
- Schedule monitoring and preparation of detailed workshop and production drawings
- Coordination of technical details with the project manager
- Arrangement of technical services such as electricity, water, rigging, etc., and support with structural calculations and permit applications
Your Profile
- Completed vocational training as a carpenter, metalworker, locksmith, or a completed technical qualification, such as technical draughtsperson/designer, engineering degree or a comparable qualification
- Professional experience in exhibition stand construction or a related field is an advantage
- Experience with CAD and 3D rendering software is an advantage
- Confident use of Apple Macintosh operating systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Good written and spoken English skills are required
- A structured working style combined with strong decision-making skills, flexibility, resilience and a customer-oriented mindset
- Highly motivated, capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team with a strong commitment to performance and quality
- Willingness to travel
- Valid Category B driving license
