How We Build

Our Approach to
Sustainable Exhibition Building.

From planning through production to disposal — our process prioritises reuse, efficiency, and reduced environmental impact.

Modular Stand Systems

Durable, reusable aluminium systems from Pixlip and Octanorm, used extensively across various clients and at exhibitions and congresses.

Flooring with 10-Year Lifespan

Our floor structures travel from event to event, client to client — up to 10 years of use per element.

Eco-Friendly Printing

Sublimation printing with water-based inks — the most ecological printing technology on the market. Foldable graphics for easy handling, reduced assembly time, and lower shipping costs.

Smart Logistics

Pre-planned routes, optimized volume, shared transport with other builders. Reusable crates instead of single-use plastic wrapping.

Reusable Packaging

Transport crates built from old exhibition materials. Straps instead of plastic bands. Robust, reusable, minimizing single-use packaging wherever possible.

Responsible Disposal

Wood goes to our partner carpentry for a second life. All remaining materials are disposed of sustainably and in accordance with regulations.

Own Furniture Inventory

A large inventory of our own furniture, used for years. No extra delivery trips from rental companies — minimizing CO2 with every project.

Reusable Components

Counters, presentation furniture, and sideboards built to last years across different clients and events. Quality that carries forward.

In Practice

Three PillarsWe Apply in Practice.

Ecology

Office building in timber construction permanently removes 66 tons of CO2. 100% certified green energy across all operations. Digital-first to reduce paper waste, and transport boxes replacing stretch film wherever possible.

Economy

Long-term partnerships over quick profits — stable relationships with clients and suppliers. High innovation capability to meet evolving needs. System-built stands that save costs through reuse — sustainability and economics aligned.

Social Responsibility

Job bikes, train passes, sports programs, and remote work options. Fair and equal wages across all positions. Language courses for international team members, regular team events, and inclusion in every aspect.

FAQ

Questions About
Sustainability.

Eco

How does Public Address work sustainably?

Sustainability is a fundamental part of our corporate strategy, officially incorporated since end of 2023. We are ISO 20121:2025 certified, which means our entire management system — from planning through production to disposal — follows a certified sustainability framework. We use durable, reusable modular aluminium stand systems from Pixlip and Octanorm, eco-friendly sublimation printing with water-based inks, and reusable packaging built from old exhibition materials.

Eco

Are the stand construction materials sustainable?

Yes. Our primary construction approach uses modular aluminium systems (Pixlip and Octanorm) that are reused across hundreds of projects. Graphics are printed using solvent-free sublimation printing with water-based inks on recyclable materials. Flooring solutions include reusable raised floors, and we prioritize renting furniture over purchasing to extend product lifecycles and reduce waste.

Process

Are your suppliers certified?

We work with our customers and suppliers in a partnership-based and fair manner. We select partners who think and act sustainably. We're transparent that this is an ongoing journey: we continuously improve together with customers who want sustainable exhibitions, suppliers who operate sustainably, and employees for whom sustainability is more than just a trend.

Eco

Are transports chosen with sustainability in mind?

Absolutely. We pre-plan all transport routes and carefully calculate required volumes to optimize transport space. We share shipments with other exhibition builders heading to the same venues. Items are packed in reusable crates instead of single-use plastic covers, and secured with straps instead of plastic bands. Our own furniture inventory eliminates additional delivery trips from rental companies, further reducing our transport-related CO2 footprint.

Process

How is sustainability implemented at international fairs?

Our ISO 20121 certification provides a sustainability framework that we apply across our projects. Our system-built modular stands are designed to be shipped internationally and reused across multiple events and countries. Our BetterStands awards at CPHI Barcelona, FIE, and BIO-Europe show that our approach has been recognized at major international trade fairs.
