Technical Draftsperson (m/f/d), Exhibition Stands

Office|Hochheim am Main|Full-time

Are you a technical draftsperson, construction draftsperson or wood technician who enjoys working with CAD? With us, your drawings become exhibition stands you will see again at the venue.

For over 30 years, Public Address has delivered exhibition stands, brand spaces and exhibitions for national and international clients, around 260 stands a year. You work in project preparation, between planning, production and installation.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed technical solutions using 2D and 3D CAD.
  • Prepare working documents and bills of materials for production as well as installation documentation.
  • Handle detailed planning and schedule monitoring.
  • Coordinate technical details with project management, contractors and suppliers.
  • Check stored company and client materials in close cooperation with our warehouse team.
  • Handle technical service orders such as electricity, water supply and rigging, and support the preparation of structural and approval documentation.
  • Accompany installation and dismantling on site in Germany and abroad when required.

Your Profile

  • Completed training as a technical draftsperson, construction draftsperson, technical product designer, certified wood technician or a comparable qualification.
  • Confident with 2D and 3D CAD; experience as a CAD designer is also a good fit.
  • Experience in exhibition construction, interior fit-out or retail construction is an advantage.
  • Comfortable working with Apple Macintosh systems and standard Microsoft Office applications.
  • Good English skills are desirable.
  • Structured working style, keeping track even when several projects run at once.
  • Willingness to travel and a valid Class B driving licence.
